Prior to the division of the Town of Smithfield in 1871, the Union Cemetery was in Smithfield. Today it is located in the Town of North Smithfield on the Woonsocket City line.
This monument was erected in 1896 and gives the family history of the Mowry Family from 1631 to 1896.
