The Stillwater Grain Mill(s) was located on Capron Road across from the trail head of the present-day Stillwater Scenic Walkway. Cement foundations can still be seen. The mill was in operation as early as 1893, and was still in operation in 1916. No further information is known.

Printed on thin paper and about the size of a business card,, this item was placed in the boxes that the Esmond blankets were sold in, and was usually disposed of, thereby making them rare today.
The Stillwater Worsted Mill, also known as the “Levy Mill” should not be confused with the Stillwater Mill, also known as the Lister Mill, which once stood on Stillwater Road in the Stillwater section of Smithfield. The mill pictured here was located on Austin Avenue in Greenville, and is today an assisted living residence.
